Returns Policy

1. Overview TempFence UK provides industrial fencing, barriers, site equipment, and related items. Due to the custom nature of our products, which include steel items, tailor-made coatings, made-to-order manufacturing, and bulk or pallet shipments, returns are handled differently from standard consumer retail. This policy explains our process for managing returns, refunds, and order issues. When you place an order with TempFence UK, you accept the terms outlined below. 2. Eligibility for Returns You can request a return in these situations: 2.1 Incorrect or Damaged Products If items are delivered damaged, incorrect, or with manufacturing flaws, you need to inform us within 48 hours of delivery. Photographic proof of the damage or issue is required before approving any return or replacement. 2.2 Surplus or Unwanted Stock Unused stock in resale condition may be returned only with prior written approval. A restocking fee of 20–30% may apply, depending on the product type. Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, unpainted, and in their original condition. 2.3 Custom or Bespoke Orders These cannot be returned unless faulty: - Powder-coated panels in unique colours - Custom-made or non-stock specifications - Made-to-order products 3. Return Process To request a return: - Email sales@tempfence.uk or call our office with your order number, the items you wish to return, the reason for return, and photos if items are damaged or incorrect. - Our team will confirm if the return is authorised. - If approved, items must be securely palletised and prepared for collection by us or the customer. - All returns must reach our Liverpool site before inspection. 4. Refunds and Credits Refunds are issued after goods are returned and inspected. For business customers, refunds are generally issued as account credit unless agreed otherwise. Refunds are processed within 7–14 working days after inspection. 5. Delivery Errors If incorrect items or quantities are delivered, we will arrange collection and replacement at no cost. Issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. 6. Warranty All products from TempFence UK come with a standard 12-month manufacturing warranty, excluding wear and tear or misuse. Claims must be accompanied by photos or site evidence. 7. Non-Returnable Items - Used fencing, barriers, or site equipment - Products damaged by improper storage, handling, or installation - Custom or bespoke items (unless faulty) - Powder-coated items in non-standard colours 8.
